Turn on the device, select a scanning mode, and look through the optical viewing filter while slowly checking suspicious objects and surfaces for bright lens reflections.

No detector can guarantee identification of every hidden camera. This device assists with visual lens-reflection checks. Results depend on the lens position, surroundings, distance, and scanning technique.

Start with objects facing private areas, such as smoke detectors, wall outlets, clocks, television frames, shower fixtures, and air vents. Pay particular attention to bedrooms and changing areas.

Dim lighting can make reflected scanning lights easier to see. For a more controlled check, reduce unnecessary room lighting and move the detector slowly across suspicious areas.

The described optical scanning features are operated directly on the handheld device. No phone app is required for these manual checks.

The detector supports USB-C recharging. Charge it before traveling so it is ready when you arrive at a new location.

The motion alarm is designed to respond when movement or tampering activates its sensor. It can provide additional awareness when attached to suitable personal belongings or fixtures.
