5 Simple Steps
Warm oil flows more easily. Warm the engine first, then switch it off before beginning extraction.

Prepare the Pump
Remove the protective caps from the pump ports and secure the fittings according to the supplied hardware.

Connect the Tubes
Attach the inlet and outlet tubing securely. Tighten the outlet clamp where required.

Connect the 12V Battery
Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal and the black clamp to the negative terminal.

Position Inlet & Outlet
Insert the inlet tube through the dipstick tube. Place the outlet tube securely inside a suitable waste-oil container.

Switch the Pump On
Start extraction and monitor the oil flow. Do not exceed the 30-minute continuous operating limit.
Important: For oil extraction only. Do not use with gasoline, diesel fuel or water. Cold, high-viscosity oil will pump more slowly.

What fluids can this pump extract?
It is intended for engine oil, lubricating oil, gear oil and compatible oil-transfer applications such as ATF. Do not use it for gasoline, diesel fuel or water.
How fast does it pump oil?
The supplied specification lists approximately 1–4 L/min, which converts to about 0.26–1.06 gallons per minute. Actual flow depends heavily on oil temperature and viscosity.
Why is extraction slower with cold oil?
Cold oil is thicker and therefore moves through the narrow inlet tubing more slowly. Warming the engine beforehand can improve flow. Switch the engine off before starting extraction.
Why might there be a small amount of oil inside a new pump?
According to the supplied product information, each pump is tested before shipment using a small amount of light oil. Minor oil residue may therefore be present and does not necessarily indicate prior customer use.
